I have been working with glass since 1975. Initially with stained glass, that led to experiments making sheets of rippled glass. A glassblowing apprenticeship sealed the deal by 1978. Since then I have enjoyed the possibilities of both hot glass and traditional stained glass. I have had the good fortune to work with several hot and cold studios through the 1980's and 90's producing copious amounts of art glass. These affiliations have taught me that the labor and time intensive ways of this art produce a more contemplative way at looking at the world. This is what I work towards now in my own studio.
